Updates To Embedded Ad Attribution
Apr 2, 2026 • 1.1.0
Full-funnel measurement for embedded creator advertising. Darwin's attribution system now combines verified user signals, creator platform analytics, and counterfactual lift modeling into a unified measurement stack — closing the loop between ad placement and real-world outcomes.
Three-Source Attribution
- Verified Touchpoints – Promo codes, tracked links, creator landing pages, and comment-to-DM automations. Direct, auditable attribution signals with no modeling required.
- AI Attribution – Counterfactual baseline modeling that measures incremental lift above predicted site activity — capturing conversions from viewers who Google the brand or visit directly.
- Darwin Amplify – Optional paid boost layer with full platform-native pixel tracking. Performance reported as a separate line item to isolate organic vs. amplified impact.
Placement-Level Impressions
All metrics now normalize against viewers who actually watched through the ad slot timestamp — not inflated total video views. CPM, engagement rate, visit rate, and conversion rate are calculated from real placement exposure.
Confidence Grading
Every modeled estimate ships with a confidence grade (A, B, or C) based on credible interval width, sample size, and model fit. Brands see exactly how much to trust each number.
One-Click Campaign Approval
Apr 1, 2026 • 1.0.0
Review every creator placement, counter-offer pricing, and submit decisions — all from a single shareable link. Brands review placements with quality scores, impression estimates, and visit rate predictions. Approve, reject, or counter-offer each placement individually.
Campaign Review Flow
- Visual Placement Previews – See exactly how your brand appears in each creator's video with placement quality scores, estimated impressions, and visit rate predictions.
- One-Tap Decisions – Approve or reject each placement individually. Counter-offer on pricing. Add feedback notes for the Darwin team.
- Shareable Review Links – Share the review page with anyone on your team — no login required. All decisions sync in real time.
Attribution Built In
Every approved campaign includes full attribution setup — tracking pixel integration, promo code tracking, and AI-modeled conversion lift. See how we measure results directly from the review page.
Ads v0.5 Release
Feb 25, 2026 • 0.5.0
Darwin Ads rebuilt from scratch. The chat-first architecture is replaced by five dedicated surfaces: a campaign dashboard, task management, an asset library, a full campaign pipeline, and an analytics suite. Ten major features across two products.
Five New Surfaces
- New Home Layout – Active campaigns displayed as visual cards with live status badges, ad slot counts, budgets, and impression numbers. A natural language prompt for launching campaigns and a condensed task list—all visible without clicking into anything.
- Tasks – Tasks organized into This Week, Later, and Completed. Each task links directly to its campaign. Create tasks with one click, assign to team members, set deadlines, and track completion. Campaign badges are clickable—jump straight to the detail view.
- Assets – A single, browsable library for every brand asset—logos, product images, and product videos. Each card shows usage count across campaigns, type badge, and editable usage preferences. Assets connect directly to campaign creation for consistent branding everywhere.
- Campaigns – Your entire campaign portfolio organized by status: Needs Approval, In Progress, Scheduled, Pending Creator Approval, Paused, and Completed. Rich preview cards with video thumbnails, color-coded badges, and key metrics. Switch between grid and kanban views.
- Analytics – Six KPIs across all campaigns: Impressions, Clicks, CTR, Conversions, Spend, and ROAS. Interactive time-series chart with 7-day, 30-day, 90-day, 12-month, and All Time windows. Campaign-level breakdowns coming next release.
What's Next
Campaign-level analytics breakdowns, creator-level attribution, automated task creation from campaign events, and deeper integrations with Darwin Studio. Updates ship every two weeks.

Brand Onboarding Rebuilt

- AI Placement Previews – See your product placed inside real creator videos before spending a dollar. Three AI-generated previews with correct lighting, perspective, and occlusion. Set brand preferences for ICP, asset display, and competitor exclusions.

Introducing Darwin Ads
Jan 14, 2026 • 0.1.0
Darwin Ads brings AI-powered product placement to creator videos. Instead of manual outreach to individual creators, brands can now place products across hundreds of creator videos simultaneously—with AI handling slot identification, competitive bidding, and automated placement. The result: diversified creator campaigns that scale like performance marketing.
The Platform
Darwin Ads uses AI to transform creator content into product placement inventory. Our system analyzes creator catalogs to identify ad slots, brands bid on placements through a marketplace, and automated systems handle product insertion. What used to take weeks of manual negotiation now happens in minutes.
How It Works
- Creators Sync Their Profiles – Creators connect YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok accounts. Darwin indexes their entire catalog—including old evergreen content still driving views.
- AI Identifies Ad Slots – Our system scans videos frame-by-frame, identifying passive background opportunities, integrated product moments, and active mention segments. Each slot is tagged with timestamp, estimated impressions, and suggested CPM range.
- Brands Bid Competitively – Upload your products, set targeting parameters, and bid on slots. Multiple brands compete for the same inventory, driving CPM rates up for creators while giving you access to premium placements.
- Automated Placement – Darwin handles product insertion using AI—lighting, perspective, motion tracking all handled automatically. Creators approve placements, ensuring quality while eliminating manual editing work.
Three Placement Types
- Passive ($5-15 CPM) – Background placements on desks, shelves, and walls. Your product appears naturally in the scene without disrupting content flow. Perfect for building awareness at scale.
- Integrated ($15-40 CPM) – Creators naturally use, wear, or interact with your product throughout their video. Authentic demonstrations that drive consideration and engagement.
- Active ($40-100 CPM) – Direct mentions, reviews, and endorsements. Creators actively showcase your brand to their audience. Highest engagement and conversion rates.
Why This Matters
Traditional creator campaigns cap out at 5-10 partnerships because manual coordination doesn't scale. Darwin Ads enables campaigns with 200+ creators simultaneously. Brands reduce risk through diversification, pay only for delivered views via CPM pricing, and optimize campaigns in real-time based on performance data. It's creator advertising, finally built for scale.
